It was a romance movie that had been extracted from a novel i think.It talked about a couple who had started dating during their university year.The guy - Nam who was acted by Louis Koo,had many admirers as he was handsome and muscular.He came from a well off family who had high expectations on him. Rene liu acted as - Mi, the girlfriend off louis koo. She was a piano prodigy.Her only problem was the insecurity she felt.It occured during the period when her mother left her when she was young.As she was afraid of her boyfriend will left him, she decided to break up with him and told him that he wanted them to be just friends.Best of the best friend.If she did this, she will not fear of losing him anymore as she could choose not to care of what he did outside.

After a few years, Nam went overseas to study, he left Mi without her wishing. Although he felt terrible, he still went. He never come back for a long time. When he was back, Mi was going off to Japan to study music.They hardly had a chance to meet. But they still contact each other.Nam would send a text message to her wishing her Happy Birthday every year without fail.It seemed like almost a ritual to do that.

but one year, when Mi heard that Nam was going to marry soon, she was devastated. She still loved Nam alot.Her heart seemed to stop.

Although Nam had married, Mi still recieved his text message once a year during her birthday.Her friend kept the secret from her that Nam had died from cancer.Nam had make up a story so that Mi would not be sad. Actually, Nam still loved har alot too.All themessages had been sent by her sister in his name all this while.

It was really a heart wrenching story.Touching but not enough to make me cry.People cry watching it, i wonder why im don't.Haha, seemed like i'm a cold hearted person.Hee..
